Content policy

No illegal content, no malware, no CSAM (reported to authorities on sight), no content you don't have the right to share. Executables and disk images are technically blocked. Repeat abuse gets IP-range throttled.

Takedown / abuse contact

Fastest: the report button on any upload (3 reports = automatic quarantine). A direct abuse-contact address ships with our domain — until then, reports are reviewed daily by the operator.

Privacy: what we store

File bytes + filename extension + size + MIME + SHA-256 (for dedup).
A hash of your IP (not the IP), upload time, download count, report count.
No accounts, no cookies, no trackers, no analytics on file pages.

What we never do

Sell data (there's nothing to sell), scan file contents, restore expired files, or hand a file to anyone without legal process.

Uptime

One VPS, best effort. Keep your only copy elsewhere — Mu Drop is a courier, not an archive. Live numbers: status JSON.
